Situated at an altitude of 1,450 m, La Thuile is one of the most famous ski resorts of the Aosta Valley and the perfect departure point for a holiday on the splendid snowy pistes. Located just behind the Mont Blanc mountain range, La Thuile is,  together with the French resort of La Rosiere,  one of the most extensive international ski areas: 150 km of pistes on Italian and French slopes where you can ski using the same skipass.

The hotel is located in a superb position:  only a few steps from the bottom of the ski lifts and at only 30 m from the ski school, enabling you to get to the pistes with your skis.

The hotel also offers a large ski room, a  theater, conference rooms,  2 swimming pools, a body-building gym, a fitness center with sauna, Turkish bath,  UVA solarium. There is a restaurant and bar service too.

In the “piazzetta”, located at the heart of the complex, you can find a newsagent and tobacconist's, restaurants, boutiques, ski hire, pub, games room. The hotel also has a garage.

Rooms

254 rooms  all equipped with private bathroom with shower or bath-tub, hairdryer, satellite TV, mini-bar (upon request), direct-dial telephone and balcony. Furthermore, there are also “suites” for two people with a double room and a lounge.

Restaurant and Bar

Located on the first floor, the restaurant offers an excellent buffet service with reserved table from the arrival day. For lunch the hotel reserves a dedicated area in the restaurant to children where they can have their lunch together with the fun "Birba Club" staff. On the second floor you will find an elegant bar with small lounge areas, TV room with 50" plasma screen, bridge room with felt top tables and a piano bar.

Ti-Tribe Entertainment

From December 19 2009 to April 6 2010 our entertainment team is available both in the day and in the evening. They will be together with those on the pistes, and also those who prefer to stay inside the hotel will enjoy games, tournaments and why not ... a tranquil walk in the snow or in town. To end the day in pleasure: shows, dancing, games and live music at the bar.

Entertainment for children

The Birba Club is on hand for children from 4 to 12 years of age, they are a group of staff dedicated to entertaining children from 9 am till the afternoon. These are recreational and sports activities for children including assistance at lunch hour.

And for skiing fans…

Children who sign up to the Birba Club enjoy the attentive and punctual assistance of our entertainment team.

-         Group lessons for beginners (extra charge). The entertainment staff will be on hand to accompany the children to their ski school instructors and at the end of the lessons to bring them back to the hotel. They also help the instructors during the courses, just in case the children were to get too tired...

-         Group lessons for advanced skiers (extra charge): those signed up to the Birba Club will be brought back to the hotel at the end of the lesson. By buying the lunch coupon in the hotel one can have lunch at the Birba Club restaurant together with the entertainment staff.
